03. Samsung Galaxy M10

Samsung started the year 2019 with the mind-blowing “Galaxy M” range. Only the lowest variant Galaxy M10 can be taken into the budget phones.

Design and display

One of the key feature in Galaxy M10 is that it utilises an Infiniti V display a waterdrop notch. The phone’s body is primarily made out of plastic, which looks good but does attract a few scuffs after regular use. Build quality is pretty that does not give you a cheap look.

This M10, does not feature a fingerprint sensor, but to compensate that Samsung has included face unlock, but since it is a budget phone we cannot expect the performance with face unlock like a high end phones.

The Galaxy M10 sports a dual camera module at the back that is located on the top left in a vertical orientation, with an LED light right below. The phone’s frame is fairly thin and houses the volume rocker and the power button on the right side.
At the bottom of the phone, you will find the audio jack and the micro-USB charging port. The SIM card slot is located on the left. The Galaxy M10 comes with a triple slot tray that has a dedicated slot for the microSD card.
The Galaxy M10, comes with an Infinity-V notch design found on several other Android handsets. The handset is reasonably thick. In between the top and the bottom bezel, you will find a 6.22-inch HD+ display that looks vibrant from the word go. The Galaxy M10 is powered by the octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset, clocked at 1.6GHz. There are two configurations available ,i.e. 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. The onboard storage is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Xiaomi is one of the best selling brand in India.

Redmi 6 the first budget phone to hit the market with dual rear camera setup.

Design and display

One of the key feature in Redmi 6 is that it utilises an 18:9 HD+ display. The phone’s body is primarily made out of plastic, which looks good but does attract a few scuffs after regular use.

Unlike Galaxy M10, the redmi 6 features the fingerprint sensor in the back. And also includes face unlock but it is better to go with the fingerprint because we cannot find face unlock that much effective.

The Redmi 6 sports a dual camera module at the back that is located on the top left in a horizontal orientation, with an LED light next to it. The Redmi 6 comes with a triple slot tray that has a dedicated slot for the microSD card.
